citation(package)

Obtain a proper citation for R or an R package. For the LaTeX crowd, a BibTeX entry is also automatically provided.

- package – Specify a package name as a character string (i.e. put the package name in quotation marks). To cite R software, use the default package, "base".

Example. Proper citations for R and for the MASS package are provided below.
